Oktoberfest Menu
September 24, 2013 in Family, Recipes by Anna
It’s fall and you know that means Oktoberfest! Unfortunately, many people can’t make it to the real Oktoberfest which kicks off in Munich every September, but there are many Oktoberfest celebrations elsewhere around the globe. Here’s a list from The Travel Channel and one from USA Travel About.com for places to celebrate in America. If you’re looking for a menu for your own Oktoberfest, you’ve come to the right place!
While living overseas, my husband and I were able to attend Oktoberfest a few years ago. When we left Germany, I carried an extra forty pounds from all of the delicious food! I consider it my lasting souvenir. Ha. Ha. Ha. Creating this menu makes my tummy grumble!
This post contains a few affiliate links, but mostly I linked out to full recipes to help you create the perfect Oktoberfest Menu!

You can’t have Oktoberfest without beer! (Well, to be honest…you can. Beer wasn’t the main attraction at Oktoberfest for years.) But, I like beer, so let’s talk beer!
At Oktoberfest, only certain beers are allowed. But, at your party, you can do whatever you want!
Many vendors offer various seasonal options. Here’s a list of 50 beers for autumn from Rate Beer. Here’s a list of fall beers from Today Food. You may already have a favorite, so don’t hesitate to stock up for Oktoberfest! Prost!
Here are delicious options for your Oktoberfest Menu. Prost!Click To TweetNow, on to some food! I didn’t cook any food for this post, but I’ll send you to some other sites that have! Don’t forget to come back to this page to check out more links to recipes though!

[…] These decorative pumpkins are an easy way to add a little something around the house for fall or Halloween…with a twist! When I saw an ad for Krylon Glowz glow-in-the-dark spray paint, I had to try it. I didn’t just want to spray the pumpkins and be done, so I gave it some thought, added some stencils and paint, and here you go…pumpkins that look great in the daylight and glow in the dark! You might even want them for a fall festival or Oktoberfest! […]
Thanks for sharing my Schweinebraten recipe. This is a great collection of recipes to celebrate Oktoberfest. Love that you kept a mug from the year you were here. We have tiny ones from every year we’ve been to Oktoberfest and hang them on our Christmas tree each year, along with the other things we’ve collected while my husband and I have been together.
